Practices
Lucy has formally trained as a teacher in Vinyasa & Hatha Yoga and Mat Pilates. Additional studies undertaken have equipped Lucy to support women through antenatal and postnatal movement, as well as teaching from a Trauma-Sensitive approach.
Philosophy
Lucy understands that there are often many barriers people face when considering engaging in a physical practice. For Lucy it is not important how you look, how you dress, or what diet or lifestyle you follow. What interests her is helping you to build a relationship with your mind and body that is built on kindness and curiosity. In her classes, Lucy offers invitations to notice sensations and breath, to find rest and calm and to cultivate emotional and physical strength. Her hope is that students will leave her classes feeling more empowered and better connected to themselves.
